Banfield Charitable Trust keeps pets and their people together.
Since 2003, Banfield Charitable Trust (BCT) has been working to keep the most vulnerable populations together with their pet companions. With the help of our donors, we promote the human-pet bond which provides mental, physical and emotional benefits to our communities. We work to prevent the surrendering of pets which needlessly burdens public and private shelters.
We help individuals and organizations facing veterinary emergencies, we run programs that offer compassionate assistance to those in need, and we help pet-focused organizations that address systemic causes of abandonment through grant making.
BCT Wellness Plans and HOPE Funds help people facing financial challenges keep their pets healthy and offset costs in emergency medical situations.
Pet Peace of Mind® enables hospice patients to keep their pets at home with them throughout their end-of-life journey.
Season of SuppersTM helps local Meals on Wheels programs distribute pet food to homebound people.
Pet Advocacy Grants help local pet-focused organizations across the country address unique needs facing their communities and develop innovative projects that offer new ways to help pets.
Education initiatives encourage children and young adults to be responsible stewards for pets and prepare post-secondary students for careers working with pets.
